Nigeria has emerged as the most cyber-attacked country in Africa, according to the February 2026 Global Threat Intelligence report by Check Point Software Technologies.

The report reveals that organisations in Nigeria face an average of 4,701 cyber attacks per week, the highest rate on the continent.
