Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a blockbuster bid exceeding €100 million to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray, in a move aimed at reshaping their attacking structure and freeing Kylian Mbappé to return to his preferred role on the left flank.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Madrid have identified Osimhen as the ideal “pure striker” capable of delivering instant end-product, explosive movement, and consistent scoring presence inside the penalty area. The club is said to believe that the 25-year-old’s physicality, aggression, and instinct for goal align perfectly with the demands of the Bernabéu and the team’s high-tempo attacking philosophy.

Reports indicate that Osimhen’s situation at Galatasaray has further intensified Madrid’s interest.

The Turkish champions paid €75 million to acquire him from Napoli, and any departure is expected to command a premium. Negotiations are anticipated to be complex, with Galatasaray determined to secure a financial return proportionate to both the player’s on-field influence and his commercial value.

Fichajes notes that Real Madrid are willing to enter a bidding war if necessary, acknowledging that the deal “could easily exceed €100 million,” particularly if other European giants enter the race.

A sale of that magnitude would position Osimhen among the most lucrative transfers in the upcoming window and one of the biggest outgoing moves in Turkish football history.

For Madrid, the signing is viewed not merely as a marquee acquisition but a strategic restructuring.

The equation is also influenced by the uncertain future of Vinícius Júnior, who has reportedly told Madrid he will not renew his contract unless structural changes are made at the club.
