Jay Z wrapped up his three-night residency at Yankee Stadium with a star studded finale that celebrated his remarkable career and New York City’s lasting influence on hip-hop.

The concerts, held from July 10 to 12, marked key milestones in the rap icon’s journey. The opening night celebrated the 30th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album, Reasonable Doubt. Fans watched as Beyoncé joined him on stage, while their daughter, Blue Ivy, made a memorable appearance. Rap legend Nas also took part, symbolizing how one of hip-hop’s greatest rivalries has evolved into mutual respect.

The second night honoured the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. Eminem, Slick Rick and Pharrell were among the guest performers who joined Jay Z to revisit some of the album’s biggest hits, creating another unforgettable evening for fans.

The final show on July 12 delivered even more surprises. Rihanna, Usher, Jeezy and several other artists appeared alongside Jay Z, bringing the residency to a spectacular close despite logistical challenges surrounding the event.

Off stage, actor Michael B. Jordan and Rihanna attracted attention after arriving in classic Roc-A-Fella-inspired outfits, while thousands of fans filled the stadium with Roc diamond hand signs in a powerful display of support for the Brooklyn-born rapper.

Many fans described the residency as more than a concert series. It served as a celebration of Jay Z’s influence on music, culture and business over the past three decades. The performances blended classic hits, emotional reunions and hometown pride, reminding audiences why he remains one of hip-hop’s most influential figures.

Following the successful New York shows, Jay Z is expected to take the celebration to Paris and Los Angeles for the next stops on the anniversary tour.
