It will focus on training, mentorship, institutional exposure, and performance evaluation.

Hadejia said these elements will help young people contribute effectively to national development.

He noted that large-scale youth development requires collaboration across institutions.

The Office of the Vice President will work with partners to build structured leadership programmes.

Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, Executive Secretary of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy, welcomed the initiative.

She said the dialogue will shift youth programmes from temporary solutions to structured systems.

She added that the academy’s model will expand beyond Lagos to a national level.

Gboyega Akosile said the initiative has strong backing from the Lagos State Government.

He noted that Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Kashim Shettima support youth-focused policies.

Organisers said the dialogue will attract key stakeholders to shape youth development policies.

They expressed confidence that outcomes will strengthen leadership systems across Nigeria.
