Shettima Mocks ADC Over Membership Portal

Vice President Kashim Shettima has criticised the African Democratic Congress over its membership registration portal.

Shettima made the remark during an interfaith breaking of fast hosted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Meanwhile, the gathering brought together federal ministers and government officials.

Shettima said the ADC had strongly supported electronic transmission of election results.

However, he claimed the party struggled to manage its own membership registration system.

According to him, the ADC portal was overwhelmed by fictitious names and identities.

He used the example to question the party’s capacity to manage complex digital systems.

The vice president made the remark while addressing participants at the Ramadan event.

His comments drew reactions from attendees during the gathering.
