25-Year-Old ABU Student Wins N7.5m MSMEs Award

A 25-year-old entrepreneur and final-year Pharmacy student of Ahmadu Bello University, Ibrahim Nuhu from Katsina State, has won a N7.5 million cash prize at the 8th National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Clinic 2026 Awards. (Arise News)

Nuhu, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Kosai Republic, received the award sponsored by the Nigerian Export-Import Bank in recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements. (Arise News)

The young entrepreneur, an indigene of Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State, was recognised for building a successful enterprise while combining his studies with business development. (Arise News)

The Katsina State Government described the achievement as a reflection of the potential of Nigerian youths when provided with mentorship, financing opportunities and a supportive environment for innovation. (Arise News)

According to the report, Kosai Republic was among the beneficiaries of the Katsina State Enterprises Development Agency (KASEDA) mentorship programme and interest-free MSME support scheme. (Arise News)
