The party also constituted a 40-member National Campaign Advisory Council and appointed campaign coordinators for the 37 states, according to the announcement.

NDC National Publicity Secretary Osa Director was named Director of Communication and Media, while retired Major General John Enenche was appointed Director of Security and Intelligence.

In its statement, the party said the council would coordinate campaign activities nationwide and mobilise support for its stated vision of a “new, just, and prosperous Nigeria.”
