Abba Kabir Yusuf has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has no political relevance in Kano State, describing the party as “dead on arrival.”

The governor made the statement while addressing supporters in Kano State following his return from Abuja.

Governor Yusuf attributed the party’s perceived weakness to internal crises and lack of grassroots support.

He said the ADC’s unresolved leadership issues have undermined its structure and reduced its chances of gaining political ground in the state.

The governor also expressed strong support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
