Olukoyede Charges Students to Shun Fraud

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has urged students nationwide to shun fraudulent practices.

He delivered the message during a study visit by students of ACAD System International School, Jikwoyi, Abuja.

The students toured the EFCC Academy in Karu on February 25, 2026.

Olukoyede spoke through Assistant Commander of EFCC, Chidimma Amanambu.

He told the students that integrity developed early builds a corruption-free society.

He said the visit aligns with the Commission’s preventive education strategy.

The EFCC, he added, remains committed to youth engagement and anti-corruption advocacy.

Deputy Commandant of the EFCC Academy, Aliyu Yunisa, explained the agency’s statutory functions.

He said the EFCC investigates, prevents, and prosecutes economic and financial crimes.

He also highlighted collaboration with local and international partners.

Deputy Superintendent Angel O. Israel warned students about the consequences of financial crimes.

He urged them to embrace integrity, accountability, and patriotism.

The event featured guided tours and an interactive session.

Students asked questions about the Commission’s operations and mandate.
