Sheikh Abdullah Pakistan has resigned as Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, the Commission confirmed today.
NAHCON announced the resignation in an official statement released on Monday in Abuja.
According to the statement, Pakistan cited personal reasons for stepping down from the leadership role.
His resignation takes immediate effect, the Commission said, as transition arrangements begin.
Sheikh Pakistan has led NAHCON through multiple Hajj seasons, overseeing pilgrim operations and reforms.
The Commission thanked him for his service and leadership during his tenure.
NAHCON said it will announce a substantive successor in due course following due process.

The Commission assured stakeholders that Hajj preparations will continue without disruption.
NAHCON also asked staff and partners to maintain focus on ongoing assignments.
