The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, officially opened the exhibition at NOG Energy Week 2026 through Executive Vice President, Upstream, Udy Ntia.
Ntia represented the GCEO on the opening day of the event. He also led a tour of the exhibition at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

NOG Energy Week 2026 runs from July 5 to 9. The event brings together leaders from the oil, gas and energy industries. They will discuss new ideas, build partnerships and explore business opportunities.

Meanwhile, NNPC Limited serves as the principal sponsor of this year’s event. The company remains Africa’s largest energy company and continues to play a major role in the continent’s energy sector.
During the opening ceremony, Ntia met with exhibitors and other industry stakeholders. He toured exhibition stands and interacted with participants from across the energy value chain.
The GCEO’s decision to send a senior executive highlights NNPC Limited’s strong support for industry collaboration. It also reflects the company’s commitment to investment, innovation and growth.
Throughout the week, exhibitors will showcase new technologies, products and services. In addition, stakeholders will hold discussions on the future of Nigeria’s energy industry and ways to strengthen the sector.
