The programme forms part of the ongoing efforts of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to provide technical training for police personnel.
It is also aimed at equipping officers with skills to tackle modern policing challenges.
The President of the Nigeria Police Public Relations School, IGP MD Abubakar mni icmna (Rtd), represented by the DIG in charge of Training and Development, Iyaku Mohammed mni, welcomed the inductees.
DIG Mohammed highlighted the importance of the training in promoting professional engagement with Nigerians.
He urged the commissioners to uphold accountability and responsibility while serving the nation.
The DIG said effective communication helps build public trust and improve police-community relations. He added that transparency and professionalism remain key to strengthening confidence in the police.
He said the workshop reflects the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to continuous training and capacity development. The programme also supports efforts to improve media relations, public communication and service delivery across the force.
