Former Liverpool manager Arne Slot has sent an emotional farewell message to fans following his departure from the club.
The Dutch coach left Anfield after a mixed spell in charge. He guided Liverpool to their 20th league title in his first season but was dismissed after the team finished fifth in the Premier League the following campaign.

In a message to supporters, Slot thanked fans for their loyalty and support during his time at the club.

“I leave with complete confidence in what lies ahead,” Slot said.
He added that the players had built strong foundations that would help the club continue to succeed in the years ahead.

Although Liverpool struggled for consistency during Slot’s final season, the team still secured qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
Slot described that achievement as a major positive.
“Securing Champions League football was an important responsibility,” he said.
He noted that qualification would allow Liverpool to keep competing at the highest level in Europe.
Special Memories at Anfield
The former Feyenoord manager also reflected on his experiences at Anfield.
“When I first stood beneath that sign in the Anfield tunnel, I knew what this club demanded,” Slot said.
He added that the team always worked hard to meet those expectations.
One of his proudest moments was winning the Premier League title with supporters present to celebrate the success.
“It was made even more meaningful because you got to enjoy it with us,” he said.

He highlighted the support shown after the passing of forward Diogo Jota.
“The love, compassion and support shown by the Liverpool family was extraordinary,” he said.
