Governor Yusuf said the legislators were dedicated public servants whose commitment to representation and legislative duties remained evident throughout their service. He added that their deaths create a significant vacuum in governance and in the communities they served.

“Kano has lost two sons who devoted their lives to public service. Their departure is painful, and words can hardly define the magnitude of this tragedy,” the Governor stated.

He extended condolences to the families of the deceased, the leadership and members of the Kano State House of Assembly, and residents of Kano Municipal and Ungoggo LGAs. The Governor prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed and strength for their families.

Hon. Amin Sa’adu has been laid to rest at Ungoggo Cemetery, while the funeral prayer for Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji is scheduled for 10am on Thursday at the Emir’s Palace Mosque.

Governor Yusuf urged residents to remain calm, united, and prayerful, describing the situation as a test of collective faith and resilience.
