Veteran Kannywood actress Wasila Isma’il has reportedly passed away at the age of 46 after a brief illness in Kaduna State.
The actress, known for her contributions to the Hausa film industry, was said to have died on Sunday, leaving behind her husband and six children.
Reports indicate that Wasila began her acting career in 1998 and became widely recognised for her role in the popular film “Wasila,” which brought her fame across northern Nigeria.
Beyond Kannywood, she also worked with Liberty Radio in Kaduna, where she became known to many listeners and fans.
