Arsenal have a chance to return to the top of the Premier League this weekend, with Manchester City distracted by FA Cup duties, while Tottenham are fighting to avoid relegation.

Mikel Arteta’s side are level on 70 points with City, trailing only on goals scored after their recent 2-1 defeat at the Etihad. With five games remaining, Arsenal can reclaim first place with a win—or even a draw—against Newcastle, depending on City’s result. Despite losing their earlier nine-point cushion, the Gunners still have a favorable run-in and remain firmly in the title race.

City, meanwhile, sit top for the first time since August and boast a strong record of converting late leads into titles, making them slight favorites as the season enters its final stretch.

At the other end of the table, Tottenham’s survival hopes hang by a thread. Now managed by Roberto De Zerbi, Spurs are winless in the league since December and sit 18th, two points from safety. They travel to already-relegated Wolves in a must-win clash, with analysts predicting they could drop into the second tier for the first time in nearly 50 years.

West Ham, just above the drop zone, host Everton, while Nottingham Forest and Sunderland also play key roles in the survival battle.

In the race for Europe, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool appear set for Champions League qualification, while Brighton continue to push from behind after a strong run of form. Sixth place could still offer a route into Europe’s elite competition, depending on results in the Europa League.

With the title, relegation, and European places all still in play, the Premier League heads into a decisive weekend.
