The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted a mix of sunny and cloudy weather across the country from Tuesday to Thursday.
On Tuesday, the northern region will enjoy sunshine throughout the day, while the central region may see few clouds and haze, with isolated thunderstorms in parts of southern Kwara later in the day.
The southern region will experience sunny skies with afternoon and evening thunderstorms in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, Imo, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers States.
On Wednesday, sunny conditions continue in the north, with similar cloudiness and thunderstorms predicted in southern Kogi, southern Benue, and Kwara states.
Thunderstorms and light rains are also forecast across the southern states.
By Thursday, the northern region remains sunny, with slim chances of thunderstorms in parts of Kwara.
In the south, isolated thunderstorms with light rain are expected in Bayelsa and Cross River.
NiMet cautioned residents about dust particles in suspension, urging people with respiratory conditions to take precautions and advising drivers and airline operators to stay informed via airport-specific reports. Regular weather updates are available at www.nimet.gov.ng.
