Israeli forces have advanced into several villages in Syria’s southern Quneitra countryside, according to Syria’s state news agency, SANA.

The report says Israeli troops, backed by eight military vehicles and three tanks, moved from the Tal al-Ahmar area toward Ain al-Zaywan and Sweisa.

SANA adds that the forces spread through Sweisa for about an hour before moving to Dawayah, while tanks entered the Abu Qubais hill.

Local sources say the troops later withdrew, with no reports of arrests or casualties, despite a recent US-supervised de-escalation agreement.

Israeli Strikes Kill Two In Lebanon

Israeli strikes have killed two people in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

One person was killed when a vehicle was hit in Mansuri, while another died in a separate strike in the town of Mayfadun.

Israel says one of the victims was a Hezbollah member allegedly involved in rebuilding militant infrastructure.

Meanwhile, UN peacekeepers say Israeli drone activity violated UN resolutions, raising concerns for civilians and international forces.
