“No one, regardless of ethnicity or belief, should be made to suffer for professing and practising his faith,” the President stated.

He highlighted ongoing engagements with religious leaders from both major faith communities as part of efforts to reduce tensions, promote peaceful coexistence, and address concerns on intolerance. Tinubu pledged that the Federal Government will continue to partner with religious institutions in conflict prevention and national cohesion efforts.

The President also called for patience and discipline among travellers during the festive period, wishing Nigerians safety as they journey to reunite with their families.

Tinubu urged the nation to look to 2026 with hope, noting that through collective responsibility and divine guidance, Nigeria will continue to progress.

“With confidence in divine providence and our collective strength, we will continue the work of building a greater Nigeria—one that future generations will be proud of,” he said.
