NSCDC Commandant Pledges Loyalty to Governor Yusuf As He Assumes Office

The newly appointed Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State, Bala Bawa Bodinga, has pledged loyalty and cooperation with the Kano State Government to enhance peace and security across the state.

Bodinga made the pledge during a courtesy visit to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Government House, Kano, on Sunday.

“I will work with the Kano Governor and will not allow any group or other forces to make me go against you,” the Commandant assured, promising to uphold professionalism and foster synergy among security agencies in the state.

Governor Yusuf, while welcoming the new Commandant, expressed his administration’s readiness to support the NSCDC in fulfilling its mandate of protecting lives, property, and critical national assets.

The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining peace and security in Kano through strengthened collaboration with all security agencies.

He commended the NSCDC for its role in community safety and national asset protection, pledging continuous partnership for the stability and development of the state.
