A fresh gridlock has been reported shortly after Jere along the Abuja–Kaduna Highway following an operation to recover a trailer that reportedly fell into a river about a week ago, with seven additional bodies said to have been discovered in the water.

The development has also drawn attention to the dangers surrounding the river and bridge area, particularly following the discovery of what local sources described as seven more bodies in the water.
Trailer Accident Raises Fresh Concerns
The trailer reportedly fell into the river about a week ago in an accident along the highway.
According to information reaching S24 Television, an attempt was made to remove or recover the trailer after concerns that it was being targeted for robbery.
It was during the recovery operation, according to the account, that workers or those at the scene discovered additional bodies in the river.
