Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to infrastructure-led development aimed at boosting economic growth and improving the quality of life of Nigerians.

Shettima stated this while representing President Tinubu at the commissioning of the full-scope development of Arterial Road N5, also known as Obafemi Awolowo Way, which connects Life Camp Junction to Ring Road III in the Dape District of Abuja.

Delivering the President’s remarks at the event, the Vice President assured Nigerians that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would continue to evolve into a capital city that reflects the country’s growing population, economic aspirations and national identity.

He noted that the completion of the road project demonstrates the administration’s resolve to expand critical infrastructure and enhance transportation networks across the nation’s capital.

According to him, improved transport connectivity in Abuja will help reduce logistics costs, attract investment and create employment opportunities for residents and businesses.

Shettima emphasized that the Tinubu administration remains focused on delivering projects that support economic development and strengthen the country’s infrastructure base.

The newly commissioned Arterial Road N5 is expected to ease traffic movement, improve access to developing districts within the FCT and contribute to the overall urban development of Abuja.
