The Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Dr. Babangida Ruma on his appointment as the State Coordinator of the National Brand Development and Made-in-Nigeria Project Office for Katsina State.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
Governor Radda described the appointment as a significant economic milestone for the state.
He noted that Dr. Ruma’s new role will help promote local industries and strengthen Katsina’s participation in the national enterprise development agenda.
The governor also commended Ruma’s contributions to the development of micro, small and medium enterprises through the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency.
According to him, the director general has consistently supported initiatives aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and promoting local products.

“Dr. Ruma’s dedication to Made-in-Katsina products has not gone unnoticed. His appointment reflects his hard work and commitment to empowering our entrepreneurs,” Radda said.
The governor reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting local businesses.
He added that through KASEDA, Katsina State will continue to strengthen entrepreneurship, promote local industries and drive economic self-reliance.
Radda said the appointment also positions Katsina as an important player in Nigeria’s manufacturing and enterprise development drive.
