A Katsina State Government delegation attended the funeral prayer of the late Managing Director of the State Water Board, Tukur Hassan Tingilin.
The Janazah prayer held shortly after Jumu’ah at the Malumfashi Central Mosque.
The prayer was led by the Honourable Khadi of Katsina State, Mutawakkil Mustapha Salis.
Family members, government officials, traditional rulers, and community members attended the funeral.
Mourners gathered in Malumfashi Local Government Area to pay their final respects.
Late Engr. Tingilin was described as a committed and disciplined public servant.
Officials said he played a key role in strengthening water infrastructure across Katsina State.
His humility, dedication, and service to the people were widely acknowledged.
The state government conveyed condolences to his family and colleagues.
Condolences were also extended to the Katsina State Water Board and Malumfashi residents.
Prayers were offered for Allah’s forgiveness and Aljannatul Firdaus for the deceased.
