Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has shared details of a frightening accident that left her injured during a movie shoot.
Oko posted a video on Instagram on Wednesday, showing moments before the crash, the immediate aftermath and her treatment in hospital.
The actress rode on the back of a motorcycle driven by fellow actor Victory Michael as part of a film scene. However, the stunt went wrong when the motorcycle hit a metal barrier at the filming location.
The collision injured Michael and caused him to lose control of the motorcycle. The impact threw Oko onto the ground, leaving her in severe pain.
Video footage showed crew members and fellow actors rushing to help the actress moments after the crash. They later took her to hospital, where medical personnel treated her injuries.
Other clips showed Oko receiving medical attention, including injections and treatment for the trauma she suffered during the accident.
Actress Reflects on Risks of Acting
Sharing her experience, Oko highlighted the dangers actors sometimes face while filming and expressed gratitude for surviving the incident.
“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If you see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you, God,” she wrote.

The video attracted messages of support from colleagues and fans who wished the actress a speedy recovery.
