President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Ahmadu Musa Kida, chairman of the board of NNPC Limited, on his 65th birthday.
In a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, President Tinubu praised Kida’s distinguished career in both the public and private sectors, as well as his involvement in professional basketball.
The President recalled that since joining Elf Petroleum Nigeria Limited, now Total Exploration & Production Nigeria (TEPNG), in 1985, Kida has consistently demonstrated professionalism, contributing significantly to the growth of Nigeria’s oil sector.

He also acknowledged Kida’s current leadership at NNPC Limited, highlighting his efforts in repositioning the company and driving revenue targets in line with the government’s vision for the energy sector.
President Tinubu encouraged Kida to continue dedicating his expertise to national service and wished him many more fulfilling years ahead.
