S24 Television has officially unveiled its Advisory Board, bringing together a distinguished group of professionals from academia, media, civil society organizations, and other strategic sectors to strengthen the station’s vision, governance, and impact.
The newly constituted Advisory Board is made up of respected thought leaders and industry experts whose diverse experiences will support S24 Television’s mission of delivering credible journalism, impactful storytelling, and informed public discourse.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Chief Executive Officer of S24 Television, Halima Abdulrauf, described the move as a strategic step toward institutional growth and excellence.
“The establishment of this Advisory Board reflects our commitment to professionalism, accountability, and long-term sustainability. Their guidance will help position S24 Television as a trusted platform for national conversations and development-focused media,” the CEO said.

Dr. Balarabe Shehu Ilelah
Dr. Ilelah is a veteran Nigerian broadcaster and media regulator who served as Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Mallam Ibrahim Inuwa Addra
Mallam Addra is a seasoned communications professional and journalist who currently serves as Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Nasarawa State.
Mallam Garba Shehu
Mallam Garba Shehu is a widely respected journalist and public communicator who served as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Prof. Patricia Ori Donli
Prof. Donli is an academic and development policy expert associated with the University of Maiduguri and the Gender Equality, Peace and Development Centre (GEPaDC).
Prof. Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi
Prof. Kurfi is a Mass Communication scholar at Bayero University Kano and former Head of Department, Mass Communication.
Mallam Auwal Musa Rafsanjani
Mallam Rafsanjani is the Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) and Nigeria’s national contact for Transparency International.
Mrs. Stella Din-Jacob
Mrs. Din-Jacob is a broadcast journalist and media executive who served as Director of News at TVC Communications.

According to the management, the Board will provide strategic counsel on editorial standards, programming direction, corporate governance, partnerships, and institutional development, while preserving the station’s editorial independence.
In addition, the lead consultant, John Coster, emphasized on how important upholding ethics and professionalism is to S24.
Also speaking on behalf of the Advisory Board, Malam Garba Shehu, expressed appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of S24 Television, noting that the media remains a critical pillar in shaping public opinion and strengthening democratic values.
“We look forward to supporting S24 Television in promoting ethical journalism, responsible storytelling, and impactful media engagement that reflects the aspirations of Nigerians,” the representative stated.
The unveiling of the Advisory Board marks another milestone in S24 Television’s expansion strategy as the station continues to invest in quality programming, audience engagement, and partnerships across sectors.
