PDP Remains Strong, Ready for 2027 - Nnorom

Dr. Chinwe Nnorom, the National Director of Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party, has dismissed claims that the party is divided, insisting that the PDP remains united, strong, and relevant at the national level.

Speaking during a conversation with S24 Spotlight in Abuja, Nnorom said those who truly love the PDP should remain confident in the party’s future, stressing that it is under authentic leadership recognized by Independent National Electoral Commission.

“Those who love PDP will like to see the party fly. The party is intact, strong and in good hands. People should not be scared,” she said.

She noted that the PDP still operates with internal democracy and remains one of Nigeria’s strongest political platforms despite challenges and public perceptions.

Nnorom, who said she has been a member of the PDP since its inception in 1998, maintained that Nigerians should continue to believe in the party because of its record while in power for 16 years.

According to her, if the PDP regains power in 2027, it will govern differently and focus on addressing the nation’s pressing economic and social challenges.

She described allegations of corruption against the party during its years in government as minimal compared to what she alleged is currently happening under the ruling All Progressives Congress administration.

Nnorom accused the APC of lacking people-oriented leadership and blamed the ruling party for worsening economic hardship across the country.

She assured Nigerians that the PDP is prepared to reorganize and deliver better governance if given another opportunity to lead the country in 2027.
