La Liga has condemned supporters of Sevilla FC after they threatened players and club officials.
The incident followed a 1-0 loss to Real Oviedo on Sunday, Angry fans gathered at the airport when the team returned, shouted insults at players and staff.
Some masked supporters also went to the training ground to confront the squad.
Sevilla have lost their last three league matches.
The team has also gone five games without a win.
They sit 17th on the table with 31 points from 30 matches.
The club is only two points above the relegation zone.
La Liga described the behaviour as unacceptable, said the actions crossed the line from criticism to intimidation.
The league confirmed it will report the case to Spanish authorities and also promised to act against similar incidents.
“Anyone who uses threats or harassment is not acting as a fan,” La Liga said.
