Mother’s Day: Oluremi Tinubu Celebrates Nigerian Mothers

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged mothers across the country to continue guiding their children with wisdom and strong values that will benefit future generations.

She made the call in her message commemorating Mother’s Day 2026, where she celebrated mothers for their dedication, care and sacrifices.

In her message, the First Lady praised mothers for the vital role they play in nurturing families and shaping society.

She described mothers as heroes whose love, strength and sacrifices help build the foundation of the nation.

According to her, the contributions of mothers go beyond visible efforts and include the quiet acts of care and devotion that define motherhood.

Oluremi Tinubu said the country appreciates the commitment of mothers who continue to nurture and support their families.

She noted that their efforts help raise responsible children and strengthen communities across Nigeria.

The First Lady also prayed for mothers across the country.

She expressed hope that they would live long enough to enjoy the fruits of their labour through their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
