LOAN Kano Insists Strike Will Continue Until Demands Are Met

The Law Officers Association of Nigeria (LOAN), Kano State Chapter, says its members will not suspend their ongoing industrial action until their demands are fully addressed.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the association acknowledged the efforts of Abba Kabir Yusuf in responding to concerns raised by law officers in the state.

The group also appreciated the roles played by other stakeholders, and leaders of the Nigerian Bar Association in Kano.

The statement also clarified that only communications issued by the association’s leadership should be considered official.

LOAN dismissed claims circulating in some quarters that the association had agreed to suspend the strike.

The association reaffirmed its readiness to continue dialogue with the state government.

It urged residents of Kano State to disregard misinformation and assured the public that negotiations remain ongoing.
