He recalled that President Tinubu had supported media organisations with personal resources before assuming office.

Shettima said the President’s tolerance reflects his understanding of the media ecosystem as a publisher.

He noted that critics freely express views because the government values peace and open discourse.

The Vice President pledged presidential backing for national endorsement of the compendium.

He also promised to encourage governors across the 36 states to support the project.

According to him, state governments play a vital role in promoting Nigeria’s economic growth.

Shettima described the publication as a tool to showcase Nigeria globally.

He said similar compendiums promote other countries at airports and diplomatic missions.

Earlier, Culture and Creative Economy Minister Hannatu Musa Musawa praised the initiative.

She said structured documentation would boost tourism, culture, and creative industries.

Bauchi State Deputy Governor Mohammed Auwal Jatau welcomed the project on behalf of Governor Bala Mohammed.

NPC Executive Secretary Dili Ezughah thanked the Vice President for his support.
