In a Valentine’s Day post titled “Nigeria Needs Our Love in Action,” Peter Obi urged citizens especially the youth to redefine love as a commitment to the common good.
He emphasized that true patriotism requires more than emotion. It demands sacrifice, integrity, and discipline.
Obi also emphasized loving Nigeria means rejecting corruption, greed, and mediocrity.
He highlighted Nigerians should support leaders based on character and competence rather than divisive interests and that true love for the country involves pointing out faults while offering solutions.
Mentioning Investing in education, healthcare, and justice is the only way to restore opportunity and foster unity.
