Shettima Visits Kwara After Kaiama Attack

Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Abuja for Kwara State on the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to carry out an on-the-spot assessment of the recent deadly attack in Woro, Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.

The visit follows the tragic incident in the community, which claimed lives and raised renewed concerns over security in the area.

During the visit, the Vice President is conveying President Tinubu’s strong assurances that the Federal Government will not relent in its efforts to restore peace and security.

According to the Presidency, President Tinubu has directed that all those responsible for the attack be tracked, apprehended, and brought to justice.

The on-the-ground assessment is expected to involve engagements with security agencies, state authorities, and community leaders, as part of coordinated efforts to prevent further violence.

The Federal Government reiterated its commitment to protecting lives and property across the country and ensuring that perpetrators of violent crimes face the full weight of the law.
