Ogun: Ex-TV Broadcaster Found Dead

The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the deaths of former Ogun State Television broadcaster Kitan Oyesiku and her security guard.

Police found their bodies on Sunday at Oyesiku’s residence in Iyana Agodo Village, Owode-Egba, Ogun State.

The discovery followed a report from a resident who noticed suspicious activity around the property and alerted authorities.

Police officers responded to the report and inspected the premises, Investigators found signs of forced entry. They also discovered evidence that intruders had ransacked parts of the house.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, detectives first found the security guard’s body at his duty post and Oyesiku’s body inside her apartment.

“The preliminary assessment revealed signs of forced entry and disturbance,” Babaseyi said.

Investigators also found that Oyesiku’s vehicle was missing from the compound.
The missing vehicle has increased suspicions that criminals attacked the victims before fleeing the scene.

Police have not yet determined the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered a full-scale investigation.

He directed detectives to identify and arrest those responsible for the killings.

Police have expanded intelligence-gathering efforts across strategic locations.

Investigators are also working to recover the missing vehicle.
