The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced that the screening test for its 78 Regular Course will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The examination will hold across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The announcement was made in a statement posted on the Academy’s official X handle on Tuesday and signed by the Registrar.
Eligibility Requirements for Candidates
According to the NDA, only candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination are eligible.
Applicants must also have selected the NDA as their first-choice institution during registration.
The Academy explained that these conditions are necessary to ensure fairness and proper screening of qualified candidates.
Candidates to Select Preferred Test State
The NDA said eligible applicants will receive an email on May 20, 2026.
The email will direct candidates to choose their preferred state for the screening exercise.
According to the Academy, this process will help officials allocate examination centres efficiently across the country.
Deadline for Location Selection
Candidates must complete the selection of their preferred test location on or before May 24, 2026.
The Academy advised applicants to select their state of residence to reduce travel stress and improve convenience.
It also noted that the screening exercise will take place simultaneously nationwide.
Examination Centres to Be Communicated Later
The NDA stated that candidates will receive details of their assigned examination centres in the first week of June 2026.
In addition, the Academy promised to continue providing updates and instructions through email communication.
Commitment to Fair and Transparent Process
The institution reaffirmed its commitment to fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all qualified applicants.
Officials also urged candidates to monitor their email addresses regularly to avoid missing important updates about the exercise.
