A Kaduna State High Court has adjourned its ruling on the bail application of Nasir El-Rufai to April 21, 2026.

The adjournment followed the inability of the presiding judge to deliver the ruling as earlier scheduled.

The judge cited time constraints for the delay.

As a result, the court postponed the hearing of the bail application.

The case involves charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission against the former governor.

Legal proceedings are expected to continue on the new date.

Meanwhile, El-Rufai is also seeking bail in a separate case.

He is scheduled to appear before the Federal High Court in Kaduna for a ruling on the second application.

The developments indicate parallel legal proceedings in different courts.

Observers say the outcomes could shape the trajectory of the cases.
