Cardi B and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye have reignited dating speculation after they were spotted dining together in Venice, Italy.
The pair enjoyed dinner at Gio’s restaurant inside the St. Regis Hotel on July 19, sat side by side with a clear view of the city’s famous Festa del Redentore celebrations.
Cardi B turned heads in a plunging turquoise dress, while Okoye appeared relaxed and smiling throughout the evening.
Although the two did not display any public affection, their latest outing has fueled rumors that their relationship is growing closer. Fans first linked Cardi B and Okoye after they were seen together during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
However, the Venice appearance came just hours after fresh allegations surfaced online.
Okoye’s on-again, off-again former partner, Jelicia Westhoff, shared a series of Instagram Stories accusing the footballer of physical abuse, neglecting their three year old son, Emilio, and being unfaithful with both men and women. She later deleted the posts.
The Nigerian international and Westhoff have had a turbulent relationship over the years and share custody of their son.
So far, neither Okoye nor Cardi B has addressed the allegations or commented on the growing speculation surrounding their relationship.
Meanwhile, social media users remain divided. Some believe the pair are simply friends, while others think the repeated public appearances suggest a budding romance.
