Bernardo Silva Close to Real Madrid Move

Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva is close to joining Real Madrid after ending his successful spell with Manchester City.

Reports in Spain claim that Real Madrid and Silva have almost completed an agreement. The Spanish giants are reportedly preparing a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028, with an option to extend it for another year.

New Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has played a key role in the deal. Mourinho reportedly identified Silva as a top target because of his experience, versatility, and leadership qualities.

Silva leaves Manchester City after nine remarkable years. During his time at the club, he made 460 appearances, scored 76 goals, and provided 75 assists. He also helped City win 20 major trophies.

Both Barcelona and Atlético Madrid showed strong interest in signing the Portuguese playmaker. However, Real Madrid moved quickly and now appear set to secure his signature.

The club has not officially announced the transfer yet. However, several transfer experts believe the deal is in its final stages and could become official in the coming days.
