The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that persons with disabilities (PWDs) will receive free application documents for the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The initiative, processed through the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group, targets candidates with conditions such as Down syndrome, autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. Blind candidates will also receive audiobooks in formats like MP3, WMV, and WMA to support their exam preparation.

JAMB Registrar Prof. Is-haq Oloyede emphasised that the initiative is part of the Board’s commitment to removing barriers and promoting equal access to higher education.

UTME registration for the 2026/2027 academic session opened on Monday, 26 January, and closes on Saturday, 28 February.
