PDP National Convention Expels Wike, Anyanwu, Fayose, Ajibade

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled several senior members, including former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN), former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, and Hon. Austin Nwachukwu, over allegations of anti-party activities.

The decision was announced during the party’s 2025 National Convention holding in Ibadan, Oyo State. Delegates overwhelmingly ratified the expulsion following the presentation of the report by the disciplinary committee.

Party officials say the move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal discipline, restore cohesion, and reposition the PDP ahead of the 2027 general elections.
