In a powerful 45-second video shared online, Ambassador Ali Layla Usman has urged young people to believe in themselves and remain steadfast in the face of life’s challenges.

Usman said people may sometimes lose confidence, direction and hope when confronted with difficult circumstances, but stressed that moments of darkness do not mean the end of the journey.

She encouraged young people not to give up on themselves, reminding them that life has a way of testing everyone and that difficult seasons can eventually give way to better days.

“Never give up on yourself,” she said, urging people facing challenges to remain patient and keep trying.

Using the growth of a tree as an analogy, Usman noted that a tree must first be watered before it can grow, stressing that personal development and success also require patience, consistency and effort.

She further encouraged people to try one more time, saying tomorrow could be the day when circumstances change.

Her message comes as a reminder to young people that setbacks, uncertainty and temporary failures should not be mistaken for the end of their journey.
