Fans of Nintendo’s iconic plumber can now watch “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” from home, as the animated blockbuster officially began streaming on Peacock on July 30 after a successful run in cinemas.
The film follows the 2023 hit “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.” This time, Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach embark on a new adventure across the galaxy.
Along the way, they meet Rosalina, Bowser Jr. and several other familiar Nintendo characters.
The movie also delivered a strong performance at the global box office. It earned more than $1 billion worldwide. As a result, it became one of the biggest films of 2026.
Peacock subscribers can now enjoy exclusive bonus content. In addition, the streaming package features behind the scenes clips, filmmaker commentary and other special extras.
Chris Pratt voices Mario once again, meanwhile, Anya Taylor Joy returns as Princess Peach, Charlie Day voices Luigi and Jack Black reprises his role as Bowser.
The cast also includes Brie Larson as Rosalina, Donald Glover as Yoshi and Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr.
Directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic led the project, while, Illumination and Nintendo produced the film. Together, they expanded the Mario universe beyond the Mushroom Kingdom with new worlds and characters.
Now, the streaming release gives fans another chance to enjoy one of the year’s biggest animated films. It also introduces the latest chapter of Nintendo’s popular movie franchise to new audiences.
