Veteran Afrobeats singer Wande Coal has released his long awaited album, King Coal, delivering a 15-track project packed with high profile collaborations.

The album arrives after weeks of teasers from the award winning singer, whose catalogue includes hits such as Iskaba. King Coal showcases Wande Coal’s signature vocals while bringing together some of Afrobeats’ biggest names.

Among the standout tracks is the closing record, Oshey, featuring Wizkid. The collaboration generated significant anticipation after photos of both artists in the studio surfaced online ahead of the album’s release.

The project also features guest appearances from Qing Madi, Ruger, BNXN and several other artists, highlighting Wande Coal’s ability to bridge generations within the Nigerian music scene.

Fans have already singled out songs such as Dem Go Pay and Porsche Panamera as early favourites, with many describing the album as one of the strongest Afrobeats releases of 2026.

The album artwork, which shows Wande Coal draped in fur alongside a “Beware of Dog” sign, reinforces the confident theme behind the project. For many listeners, King Coal represents both a celebration of Wande Coal’s enduring influence and a reminder of his place among Afrobeats’ pioneering stars.
