Sulaiman Sulaiman Jisambo has officially withdrawn from the race for the Kaduna State House of Assembly seat representing Chikun Local Government Area, citing extensive consultations and commitment to party unity.

In a statement announcing his withdrawal, Jisambo said the decision followed deep reflection and wide consultations with family members, political associates, stakeholders, and leaders of the African Democratic Congress.

According to him, the conversations were guided by wisdom, unity, and the collective interest of the people.

“This decision has not come lightly. It is the product of extensive consultations, thoughtful introspection, and sincere engagements,” he stated.

Jisambo also expressed appreciation to his supporters and well-wishers who stood by him throughout the political process.

He urged them not to view the withdrawal as the end of the journey, but as part of a broader commitment to leadership and public service.

“Leadership is not confined to elective office alone—it is a lifelong commitment to service, sacrifice, and impact,” he added.

Despite stepping down from the race, Jisambo reaffirmed his loyalty to the ADC and pledged continued support for the party’s vision and growth.

He stated that he would continue working to strengthen the party across all levels of governance in Nigeria.

Jisambo stressed the importance of unity and collective progress within the party ahead of future political engagements.

The withdrawal comes amid ongoing political realignments and consultations within opposition parties ahead of future elections in Kaduna State and across the country.

Political observers say such moves often reflect broader strategic considerations aimed at strengthening party cohesion and electoral positioning.

Jisambo’s withdrawal highlights the role of consultation and party unity in political decision-making.

While stepping away from the House of Assembly race, he insists his commitment to public service and the ADC remains unwavering.
