Fans and well-wishers have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for popular fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, following the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Eliana Adeife Atere.
The excited couple announced the birth of their daughter in a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, expressing gratitude and joy over the new addition to their family. Explaining the meaning behind the baby’s name, they revealed that “EL” means God, while “ANA” means “He has answered,” making the full meaning: “My God has answered.” They also referenced the Bible verse, 1 Samuel 1:27, which says: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”
According to the couple, baby Eliana was born on May 2, 2026.
Veekee James and Atere tied the knot in a widely celebrated wedding ceremony in February 2024 after getting engaged in December 2023.
