Dr. Aisha Ali-Gombe has recorded another major international achievement as Google.org awarded a fresh $1 million grant to the LSU Cybersecurity Clinic under her leadership.
The grant is expected to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure, support the training of hundreds of students, and expand cybersecurity services to organisations across Louisiana in the United States.
Dr. Ali-Gombe, a proud indigene of Gombe State, has continued to distinguish herself in the global technology and cybersecurity space through innovation, leadership, and academic excellence.
This latest recognition adds to her growing list of achievements. In previous years, she successfully led efforts that secured a $1.5 million grant from the National Security Agency (NSA) for LSU’s Cybersecurity Clinic.
