Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, has officially submitted his governorship nomination form for the Gombe State governorship race under the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The nomination form was reportedly purchased by youths and supporters who said they had benefited from Pantami’s support, mentorship, and empowerment initiatives over the years.

According to supporters of the former minister, a delegation representing the youths formally submitted the form on Thursday in line with the requirements set by the APC ahead of the party’s governorship primary election scheduled for the 21st of this month.

The supporters described the move as a sign of appreciation for Pantami’s contributions to youth development and opportunity creation, insisting that the governorship contest in Gombe State would be one of the most competitive primaries in recent political history.

They also called on supporters across the state to remain united and committed as the campaign progresses toward the APC primary election.

Pantami, a professor of Cybersecurity and former federal cabinet member, has remained a prominent political figure in Gombe State following his service in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
