PDP Seeks Clarification from INEC Over Alleged Gifts from Wike

The Peoples Democratic Party has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to address allegations involving land and cash gifts linked to the FCT Minister.

The party raised concerns over reports that Nyesom Wike allegedly offered benefits to senior officials of the electoral body.

It warned that allegations involving electoral officials could erode trust in the democratic process.

PDP insisted that the Commission must remain above suspicion in both conduct and perception.

It urged INEC to reassure Nigerians by addressing the claims directly.
