Atiku Abubakar former Vice President of Nigeria, has criticised the Tinubu led administration over recent terrorist attacks in Borno State.
Atiku expressed concern about the resurgence of suicide bombings and renewed violence in parts of the North-East region.
He said the attacks revive memories of 2014 when Boko Haram carried out frequent attacks across the country.
The former vice president also commended Nigerian soldiers for their sacrifices while confronting terrorist groups in difficult operational environments.

However, Atiku urged the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to review its security strategies.
According to him, continued attacks could weaken public confidence in the government’s ability to protect citizens.
He said Nigerians expect concrete security results rather than repeated statements condemning terrorist activities.
Atiku also alleged that the government is focusing more on political issues than addressing the country’s worsening security challenges.
He warned that terrorism affects all citizens regardless of political affiliation or party loyalty.
The former vice president urged authorities to listen to constructive criticism and improve efforts against terrorism.
He said families affected by the Maiduguri attacks are demanding stronger security protection from the government.
